As Managing Director, Jon heads the Sales and Marketing search practice of Genesis Search Group. For almost a decade, Jon has worked within various segments of the Consumer Products Industry, building his clients’ human capital infra-structure by completing searches successfully and in a timely manner. Jon’s career in the executive search industry was launched within the MRI system. During his first year he was the recipient of MRI’s “Rookie of the Year.” In the subsequent 5 years, Jon was awarded Top 10 Producer 4 times, competing in a field of as many as 5,000 peers. Jon’s career progressed within the CDI organization (parent company – MRI) where he led the globally-retained practice as Managing Director – Consumer Products. Prior to his work in the Executive Search Industry, Jon held several key management roles within the Sales and Marketing functions for Levi Strauss & Company, VF Corporation and Chic Jeans. Jon’s functional experience (15 yrs) combined with 10 years in search allows him to bring a unique level of expertise to his clients. During his 25 years of business experience, Jon gained valuable insight into the driving factors in the war for talent acquisition. Jon is a 1980 undergraduate of Florida State University with a BS in Marketing. He and his wife Elyse live in Center City Philadelphia with their daughter Jessie, their dog Dexter, and Tinky the cat.

As an Account Executive, Narissa specializes in placing top talent into the housewares and foodservice industry. She has a unique perspective on recruiting for this niche, as she has spent the last 8 years working on the manufacturer’s side of the equation in both retail and foodservice. Narissa’s career in search launched when she was tapped on the shoulder by a recruiter with Genesis Search Group. This started her soul searching as she figured out what would be the next step in her career. With a passion for tabletop products and problem solving, she saw the search business as the best way to harness both. She gets to spend each day exploring exceptional talent and iconic brands. It’s a win/win for everyone. Narissa received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Maine. She resides in Delaware with her husband, 2 boys, 1 dog, and 2 cats. In her spare time she loves to cook, read, and spend time with her family.
Rile recently joined the Genesis Search Group as a Business Development Manager. He brings over 35 years of Consumer Goods experience with several industry leading companies, to include Black & Decker Household Products, Spectrum Brands HHI Group (former division of Stanley Black & Decker) and Procter & Gamble. He has held several progressive Sales and Marketing leadership roles to include, Vice President of Sales and Trade Marketing – North America, National Sales Manager, Director of National Accounts, Field Sales and Team Target. He has extensive experience across a diverse base of accounts and channels with virtually every major retailer in North America. He has deep experience in the Housewares, Hardware, Pet Products and several CPG categories. Rile’s tremendous industry experience gives Genesis an insider’s perspective on one of our most critical areas of focus, to continue to offer best in class talent acquisition capabilities for Sales and Marketing professionals in the Consumer Products industry, across a very diverse account base. He has a strong track record of assessing talent, recruiting (multiple levels/positions) and developing high performing Sales Teams. He has excellent communication skills and a reputation of taking a consultant approach in building relationships.
